The U.S.S. Quad Damage

After months of putting up with an unstable laptop (my Thinkpad T30), two fresh installs, two weeks of intensive testings, I finally get a BSOD with useful information. It turns out that if I remove Symantec Antivirus or do some registry magic the problems will disappear. *sigh* Now to see if there's anything else wrong with the laptop.
