I assume that this technology is aimed at stopping people whom have very little idea how to use computers from copying DVD's. I also assume that they would probarbly buy a DVD player rather than try and work out how to play a dvd on their computer.

"Look here all I have to do is put it in the DVD player and it works."

I also assume that everyone sees the fault in leaving the decryption device in the hands of the consumer.
