Crazy pieces of wood!
Last night my class and I had dinner at Sakuratei, a Japanese restaurant in the city. God damn, chopsticks are tricky! What was supposed to be an opportunity to practise our speaking skills with other native speakers (the teachers friends) quickly turned into a semi-discussion about anime and manga. Although Kaoru-san had never heard of most of the titles we mentioned, she did say she liked Tonari no Totoro, along with the rest of Miyazaki's work. She has good taste!
Later, a few of us made our way to a pub where we discussed, among other things, more anime!
Gaming
Not that anyone cares, but I've recently plowed through Super Mario Brothers, Super Mario Brothers 3, and Simpsons: Hit and Run. I'm currently making my way through Seiken Densetsu 2.
