The lord save us all

I spead far too much time reading the news, because of these, I've come across these two articles -

Trail of fear left behind by moral crusaders
The Christian Right's fundamental problem

The second of these start with "If you believe in Armageddon, you don't need to save the planet. That's a concern if you also influence the White House and US foreign policy."

Here's a show that's worrying that just started showing in the US called Revelations and on its homepage is this poll -

What will bring about the end of the world?
32% Spiritual Imbalance
23% Natural Disasters
45% Man-made Holocaust

I just want to take this opportunity to say: METALLL!!!!
\m/

Seriously, though, dude, Satan is real, and god created him to fuck the world up, if you catch my drift.

Actually seriously(?), though, I always thought fundies were cute but harmless. Looks like they're more like gremlins than I initially imagined.

sure, why not?

Did you actually read the articles, harpy?

The next next article in the series is boring, but here it is anyway.

I think Christianity and other religions are cool and all, but they should all remain a personal, private part of people's lives. It's no coincidence that nations that have removed religion from their governments are nice places to live, whereas those that have not aren't so great.

Anyway, I'm just a little annoyed that Paulo beat me to the punch when it came to someone finally making a mention of religion on the site. So what if my article has been sitting as a draft for a few weeks now!

China is most notable for not having religion, and it's not exactly (PUN ALERT!) heaven on earth. It seems to be having a fair bit of trouble concerning Falun Dafa and the Buddhists. On the other hand, that Buddhist nation with a king and "gross national happiness" seems to be doing pretty well for itself.

In addition, if Paulo and you were in a fight, you'd be on the ground, f00!

!!!

Indeed, Michael raises an interesting point.
